Women in Leadership

This apprenticeship program is tailored specifically for women seeking to enhance their personal and professional development. Throughout this comprehensive series, women will acquire indispensable skills and adopt a growth-oriented mindset.  Through this self-discovery class, participants gain insights to understand their workplace personality, identify their natural leadership traits, and align their long-term career goals accordingly.  Trainees dive into the core principles of effective leadership, exploring concepts such as systems thinking, active listening, and conflict resolution to nurture robust leadership abilities and foster collaborative team environments.  Attendees will learn to reframe vulnerability as a source of strength, address workplace biases with professionalism, and harness newfound confidence to navigate challenges and excel in workplace professionalism. 

COMMAND YOUR CAREER  

In this class, women embark on a journey of self-discovery, delving deep into their workplace personality and strengths. Through interactive exercises and insightful discussions, attendees uncover common leader personality traits and gain valuable insights into their own leadership potential. Key topics include understanding your unique workplace personality and strengths, identifying common leader personality traits and characteristics, analyzing strategies to cultivate and enhance leadership traits, and assessing alignment between career goals and personal attributes.  By the end of the class, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to confidently navigate their leadership journey, leveraging their strengths to achieve career success and personal fulfillment.   A 30-minute virtual 1:1 skill reinforcement session will be individually scheduled with you.

COMBAT CONFLICT  

In this comprehensive class, apprentices delve into the core principles and practical applications of conflict resolution, systems thinking and active listening techniques. Participants gain a deep understanding of systems thinking principles, learning how to analyze complex organizational dynamics, identify interdependencies, and leverage feedback loops to drive systemic change and innovation. Through experiential exercises and role-playing scenarios, participants develop active listening skills, honing their ability to empathize, engage, and communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and peers.  Participants explore various conflict resolution strategies, from collaborative problem-solving to negotiation techniques, equipping them with the tools and mindset needed to navigate and resolve conflicts constructively in diverse workplace settings. By combining theoretical insights with practical exercises and real-world examples, this class empowers participants to enhance their leadership effectiveness, foster healthier team dynamics, and drive positive organizational outcomes.   A 30-minute virtual 1:1 skill reinforcement session will be individually scheduled with you.

COURAGEOUS CONCERNS  

In this class, participants embark on a journey to redefine vulnerability as a powerful catalyst for courage, confidence, and inclusive leadership. Through insightful discussions, attendees explore the role of vulnerability in fostering authentic connections, dismantling biases, and effectively navigating workplace challenges. Participants learn how embracing vulnerability can foster trust, empathy, and resilience in professional relationships. Trainees develop awareness of unconscious biases, prejudices, and micro-aggressions that may impact decision-making and interpersonal interactions in the workplace and learn how to recognize and address these biases differently. By the end of the class, participants emerge equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to embrace vulnerability as a cornerstone of courageous leaderships, navigate difficult conversations with empathy and assertiveness.   A 30-minute virtual 1:1 skill reinforcement session will be individually scheduled with you.

HALT HESITANCY  

In this empowering class, participants learn how to overcome meeting hesitancy, cultivate self-esteem, and master the art of professional presentations. Trainees learn practical strategies and techniques to boost self-esteem empowering them to approach challenges with resilience and confidence. Through interactive discussions and skill-building exercises, participants explore the impact of meeting techniques on audience engagement, hone their public speaking abilities, refine their message delivery, and project confidence and authority in front of an audience.  By the end of the class, participants emerge equipped with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to confidently present themselves with poise and assurance, setting the stage for success in their personal and professional lives.   A 30-minute virtual 1:1 skill reinforcement session will be individually scheduled with you.

DELIVERY

Virtual or in person workshops and virtual skill reinforcement sessions. 

DURATION

This class series is offered virtually or in-person. Virtual sessions meet Mondays & Fridays as a lunch and learn workshop from 11 AM to 1 PM, over a ten-week period. In person sessions meet every other Wednesday as a group from 9 AM – 1 PM over an 8-week period. Both virtual and in person attendees will also receive six, 30-minute 1:1 skills reinforcement sessions scheduled by the participant and facilitator.
