This past Wednesday, May 24th, Catalyst Connection hosted the second annual MFG Works Summit at St. Vincent College. 200+ attendees participated in the Summit to learn industry best practices on the topics of:
Our Keynote Speaker, Ryan Jenkins, Wall Street Journal bestselling leadership author, kicked the day off and provided an insightful overview team connection, generational differences, and the future of work.
The day continued with two different breakout session tracks that informed participants on how to expand their talent “stream” of manufacturing talent, how to improve upon employer branding, as well as how to navigate various aspects of the ever-changing workplace environment.
In addition to the various breakout sessions, we had several panel discussions that informed attendees of best practices on learning & coaching strategies, training approaches, apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeships, and the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace.
Overall, the MFG Works Summit was a successful event, as Catalyst Connection continues to receive positive feedback from the day:
“I liked the rapid-fire format with some of the sessions. It gave me just enough information to investigate further if I had an interest. Keynote was awesome. Free book too!!!.”
“I enjoyed the breakout sessions as they provided opportunities to select which content area you wanted to attend and allowed for movement breaks and networking during the day.”
“Great day! Informative and enjoyable. Good networking opportunities.”
“It was a great event.”
