During this session, participants will learn about Veterans First Verification Program eligibility requirements, terminology, processes and how the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) verifies SDVOSBs & VOSBs according to the tenets found in Title 38 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 74 that address Veteran eligibility, ownership, and control.

Small businesses, as defined by the Small Business Administration, can submit an entry form which will be reviewed by the Department of the Navy (DON) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). We will select 10-12 companies with the most promising submissions. Finalists will secure a 10-minute spot to present their idea to panelists and audience members.

Small Business Cybersecurity Boot Camp. The speaker is Mr. Aaron Bishop, Department of the Air Force Chief Information Security Officer. Mr. Bishop will provide critical information to help businesses protect their data and networks, as well as protect sensitive Department of Defense (DoD) data. He will also discuss the Air Force and Space Force Chief Information Security Officer’s Blue Cyber initiative for small business cybersecurity. This event includes six, information-packed hours of specialists describing resources available to businesses which are already or are considering doing business with the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force or DoD.

The Technology Services Organization (TSO) provides information technology support for software maintenance and operations of Financial Management and Human Resource Management Business Mission Area systems in support of the Deputy Commandant, Programs and Resources, and Deputy Commandant, Manpower and Reserve Affairs. TSO’s portfolio includes integrated Pay & Personnel, financial management, and accounting systems in support of the United States Marine Corps, Department of the Navy, and Department of Defense. Its mission includes functional support for Business Information Systems (BIS), studies, assessments, consulting, program and project management, and the integration and maintenance of the networks upon which the supported BIS operate.
The purpose of this contract is to provide knowledge-based support services for the maintenance of highly complex, government-designed and owned enterprise-class business critical systems. The services to be acquired fall within the scope of software analysis, programming, debugging, software testing, software maintenance, software installation, help desk support and management, document conversion, risk management, software process improvement, quality assurance, system operations support, project management, system documentation, training, and maintenance of the systems, subsystems, and networks supported by TSO.
