Lean Certification Boot Camp
The Lean Certification Series is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in basic lean principles, including hands-on experience in the application of those principles.
- The program includes six days of classroom instruction as well as a certification exam
- The classroom training will be delivered at the rate of one class every other week
- Lean Certification is designed to prepare the participants to successfully apply lean principles, and to play an active role in their organization’s improvement efforts
- Certification is achieved by attending all classroom instruction and satisfactory completion of a written exam.
Classroom training includes instruction in the following lean tools:
- Value Stream Mapping and A3 Thinking (Feb. 6, 2025)
- Intro to Principles of Lean Manufacturing (Feb. 20, 2025)
- Practical Problem Solving – The 5 Why’s (Mar. 6, 2025)
- Lean Tool Implementation (March 20, 2025)
- Standard Work and Visual Management (April 3, 2025)
- Continuous Improvement Practice/Sustaining Improvement Efforts (April 17, 2025)
- Lean Certification Exam (May 1, 2025)
