AS9100™ Rev D Internal Auditing Training

The AS9100 Rev D Internal Auditor training course is designed to introduce participants to the AS9100 Rev D quality management system standard and prepare them to conduct effective internal audits. Developed in line with the ISO 19011 standard, this course covers interpretation of the QMS requirements, recognition of objective evidence to verify system implementation, and auditing ethics and techniques. Case studies and exercises reinforce the principles learned.

  • Audit Follow-up and Closure: Ensuring corrective actions and improvements
  • Group Exercises: Analysis of audit scenarios, nonconformance descriptions, root cause analysis, and corrective action evaluation

About the Trainer

Craig J. Wilson, Senior Quality/Process Improvement Consultant at Catalyst Connection, has over 20 years of experience in quality assurance and production. Since joining Catalyst Connection in 1993, he has worked with companies across aerospace, automotive, chemical, defense, food processing, and medical industries to implement effective quality management systems.

Craig holds a BS in Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from West Virginia University. He is an AS9100/AS9120 Aerospace Experience Auditor with Probitas and a QMS Lead Auditor with Exemplar Global. He is also a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), with certifications as a Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, Quality Engineer, and Quality Auditor. Additionally, Craig is an IAQG-certified instructor for AS9100 Aerospace Auditor Transition Training.
