In 2024, Catalyst Connection continued to fulfill our mission of We Grow Manufacturing by driving innovation, workforce development, and sustainability across Southwestern Pennsylvania. Through initiatives like the Digital Bridge program, we empowered manufacturers to integrate cutting-edge technologies, modernize operations, fortify supply chains, and enhance cybersecurity.

Our workforce development programs, including the Industrial Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship and the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing” contest, expanded access to rewarding careers and inspired the next generation of industry leaders. Additionally, by partnering with manufacturers to implement sustainable energy strategies, we demonstrated that environmental stewardship and economic growth go hand in hand—reducing costs, increasing resilience, and ensuring a thriving future for regional manufacturing.
