Six Sigma Green Belt Training

The Six Sigma Green Belt training focuses on using a systematic methodology to achieve significant financial results and improve customer satisfaction. When applied to carefully selected projects, Six Sigma can dramatically reduce or even eliminate defects, process waste, and uncontrolled processes, leading to substantial business improvements. Participants will practice and apply learned skills through both individual and team exercises, using a real-world business improvement project assigned by their management sponsor.

Green Belts play a crucial role within an organization’s Lean Six Sigma framework. They assist Black Belt project teams by collecting and analyzing data, developing process maps, and supporting statistical analyses. Green Belts help accelerate project progress, maximizing organizational investment and capacity for breakthrough improvement projects.

In addition to supporting larger initiatives, Green Belts lead their own improvement projects that do not require the same level of statistical rigor as those of Black Belts. These projects fit within their normal daily roles, allowing them to drive significant improvements independently. Participants will learn how to lead Lean Six Sigma projects and apply the techniques to their assigned business improvement projects. Upon completing the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion and will be prepared to sit for the ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Exam.
