The Clean Energy Manufacturing in Appalachia (CEMA) project has been working with the experts at Subcity to help manufacturers navigate their Incentive Finder Tool successfully and are excited to launch this new online self-guided tool.
- There are hundreds of local, state, and federal economic incentives, vouchers, and tax credits that Appalachian manufacturers are eligible for but likely not pursuing.
- These programs are triggered based on address, hiring and training, investing in equipment, clean energy projects, and the community but too often go missed or just to the biggest companies with teams of tax attorneys and big 4 accountants.
- In partnership with Subcity, CEMA is providing a resource to all manufacturers to sign up for a free, personalized incentive report for their business. They can share this with their CPA, accountant, and finance teams and pursue any of these applications directly or reach out for application assistance.
- This session will provide a demonstration of the tool, highlight several of the most impactful programs for SMM, and provide a quick overview of what to keep in mind regarding incentives and tax credits along with time for questions and additional resources.
